Installation

Forex Strategy Builder can be installed anywhere on any media/drive. The program is portable and runs equally well from your hard drive, as well as from a flash drive.

There are three distribution files that can be used to install FSB: installer file, self-extractable archive and a compact zip archive.

1. Download the installer file ForexStrategyBuilder.exe from the official site Forex Download;

2. Double click on the file to start the installation process;

3. Read and accept the license agreement;

4. Choose the installation path. By default, the installer creates a folder Forex Strategy Builder in the Program Files directory;

5. Choose a name for the Windows Start Menu folder of the program. By default, it is named Forex Strategy Builder;

6. Confirm the installation details;

7. View the ReadMe file;

8. After the installation is complete you might want to renew the forex rates data by downloading new rates form the home site or from any Forex broker. The rates must be extracted into the Data folder. You can access it from the Start Menu. For more information on forex rates and on how to add them check the article Forex Rates Update.

1. Double click on the file to extract it;
   
2. Update the forex data files from the home page of the program or from your broker.

This distribution does not contain any forex rates.

1. Unzip the file to any directory you like using your archiver.
2. Download forex rates files and put them in the Data folder.
