Forex Strategy Builder performs automatic calculations and offers detailed information about the transactions, orders and positions in each back test.

• show / hide the journal - View Menu - Journal. Fast Access Key Ctrl + J.

The journal can be viewed in two formats: journal by positions and journal by bars.

• Changing between formats - View Menu - Journal by bars. Fast Access Key Ctrl + B.

Make use of the Bar Explorer tool to get more detailed information about the price route through a given bar. To open it, double click on the bar you are interested in.

This journal format reveals all the transactions in the order in which they have been closed.

This journal format shows market data, the state of the position at the time of closing of each bar, the virtual bank account, the required and the free margin and the back test evaluation.

The ambiguous bars lines in the table are colour marked.

One of the lines in the table is highlighted. This is the so called chosen bar. Detailed information about the orders and positions during the chosen bar is shown in the Order and Position tables.

This table shows the orders within the chosen bar in the chronological order of their execution or cancellation.

This table shows the positions within the chosen bar in the chronological order of their execution.
